Actor Yang Hyun-min and Choi Cham-sarang's second story was revealed in SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereinafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'), which ranked first in the Monday entertainment show's '2049 viewership ratings'.
The 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' broadcast on the 10th recorded a peak viewership rating of 5.6% and an average viewership rating of 4.2%, ranking first among all entertainment programs aired at the same time, while the '2049 viewership rating' stood at 1.3%. During the broadcast, Yang Hyun-min and Choi Cham-sarang drew attention by confessing to infertility. The couple shared that they had attempted in vitro fertilization five times over the past two years but had not achieved pregnancy, eliciting sympathy from everyone. Choi Cham-sarang cautiously said to Yang Hyun-min, "You say you're okay, but I think I want to try in vitro fertilization again. Isn't it better to try again before it's too late?" In response, Yang Hyun-min expressed, "We had agreed not to pursue in vitro fertilization anymore and informed our parents. I don't want to see you in pain."
However, Choi Cham-sarang revealed her determination for pregnancy, stating, "I had some rest because I thought it would be difficult to try again. Despite that, I still think it would be good to give it another shot now." In a subsequent interview, she mentioned, "(The failures in the process) have made my emotions fluctuate greatly. When I couldn't get pregnant, which I took for granted, I felt like a failure," as she shed tears. Yang Hyun-min observed, "When my wife receives injections due to in vitro fertilization, her belly gets all bruised, and because of hormone changes, she gains a lot of weight. If I could bear the child instead, I would have done it a long time ago. However, since there are no other options, we can only wait and see. I decided to quit smoking and drinking in one go, thinking about what else I could do. Still, we haven't been able to conceive."
The couple regained their determination and attempted in vitro fertilization again after a year and a half. They went to a hospital visited by the couple Jang Su-won, who succeeded in getting a child after their 9th attempt. The most critical factor was that Choi Cham-sarang was 35 years old. The doctor reassured the couple, saying, "You appear younger than your age, so it's fine," and the studio MCs also cheered them on.
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun-min and Choi Cham-sarang were surprised when their close friends, filmmaker Lee Byung-hun, actor Go Chang-seok, and comedian Ahn Young-mi, visited them. Ahn Young-mi suggested a 'persona ideal type World Cup' to director Lee Byung-hun, who had worked with Yang Hyun-min in 10 projects, but he replied, "No matter who you bring, Ahn Jae-hong is the best."
