Yang Hyun-min and Choi Cham-sarang mentioned their IVF treatment failures.
On the 10th, during the SBS program "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny," the couple shared their experience of failing five IVF treatments over two years, evoking sympathy from viewers.
Previously, Yang Hyun-min and Choi Cham-sarang had a quarrel over driving and parking issues but quickly reconciled. On that day, Choi Cham-sarang told Yang Hyun-min, "If you're okay, I would like to try IVF again." Yang Hyun-min stated, "Not long ago, we decided to stop IVF and leave it to fate and to take it easy. We have informed both families as well." In response, Choi Cham-sarang remarked, "I think it would be good to try again before it gets too late."
Yang Hyun-min said, "I don't like to see you struggling. That's why I suggested we stop IVF. It must be hardest for you, but it's also hard for me to see you like this." He and Choi Cham-sarang mentioned that they had conducted five IVF procedures over two years but faced failures, which evoked sympathy from those around them.
Yang Hyun-min stated, "Right now, it's not that I want to do it again." Choi Cham-sarang noted, "I thought trying again would be difficult. That's also why I took a break. Still, now I think it would be nice to attempt it once more."
Yang Hyun-min remarked about IVF, "I really want a child and to have one. However, I didn't marry just to have children; I married because I love you. We tried IVF but it was very difficult. It makes me feel like a failure because we couldn't have a child."
Choi Cham-sarang said, "Physically, it's exhausting and emotionally, it leads to significant mood swings. If we had succeeded, it would have been fine, but I felt like a failure because having a child seems like a given, and not being able to achieve that made me feel like I was failing." She teared up as she spoke.
