Former group Fin.K.L member Ok Joo-hyun mourned the late (故) Wheesung, who unexpectedly passed away.
On the 11th, Ok Joo-hyun posted a lengthy message and video on her social media. The video includes footage of Ok Joo-hyun and the late Wheesung performing a song together on stage. She reflected on their past collaboration on stage while mourning Wheesung.
Ok Joo-hyun recalled, "It was 2004 back then, so it's been over twenty years. During our teens, we were solely focused on 'various vocal lessons,' attending many lessons everywhere together. It was a time when we were passionate about vocal training."
She added, "It was so much fun to work on vocal techniques for hours right in front of the soundproof wall, and we were such passionate vocal students, digging deep into our lessons and sharing joy together."
She also expressed her affection for Wheesung, saying, "You know the saying about being people of that time. After that, we were busy living, igniting our passions in our respective places, but I will never forget how much strength you were to me during those days as vocal lesson comrades, Wheesung."
Ok Joo-hyun conveyed her condolences by writing, "I hope you find happiness there, being the vibrant you filled with enthusiasm, love, and joyful moments. I will pray for you and remember you, Wheesung."
Wheesung was found collapsed at his home in a state of cardiac arrest on the 10th. He was 43 years old. Emergency responders who arrived at the scene after being notified by his family performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other emergency measures but pronounced him dead.

After that, we were busy living, igniting our passions in our respective places.
