'Sundori' Lee Geon-joo confesses that he received financial demands and blackmail threats from his father, who left when he was 2 years old.

The first broadcast of TV CHOSUN's 'My Dad and I' Season 2 will air today at 10 p.m., revealing for the first time Lee Geon-joo, a 'musician and shaman,' sharing the heartbreaking story of why he has been estranged from his father for 10 years. The complicated father-son story of Chef Yeo Min, the eldest son working as a sous-chef at his father’s restaurant with Chef Lu Ching Lai, will also be addressed.

Lee Geon-joo, who has mentioned growing up in the care of his aunts since he was 2 years old, made the decision to appear on the family entertainment show 'My Dad and I' after long consideration. Noting that he has never spent a birthday with his parents, Lee Geon-joo laments, "You probably wouldn't even remember when my birthday is," prompting tears from everyone.

Meanwhile, Lee Geon-joo mentions that he has been living without contact or knowing anything about his father since his grandmother's funeral 10 years ago. He confesses, "I was extremely upset that my aunts, whom I cherish like my life, used me as bait for financial demands." He adds that these demands from his father have persisted since the time when Lee Geon-joo enjoyed nationwide popularity as 'Sundori' in 'Three Families under One Roof' up until recently.

He also reveals that he received threats from his father saying, "If you don't meet my financial demands, I will meet with entertainment reporters and expose everything," shocking the audience. The story of 'Sundori' Lee Geon-joo and his father will be shared for the first time and will air on Tuesday, the 11th, at 10 p.m. on TV CHOSUN's 'My Dad and I.'
