LE SSERAFIM revealed some songs from their new album 'HOT' through a collaboration with 'Overwatch 2.'
On the 11th at 1 a.m. (Korean time), 'Overwatch 2' posted a trailer featuring LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) on their official social media. 'Overwatch 2' is a team-based free action game by Blizzard Entertainment.
LE SSERAFIM, who received much love for their music video 'Perfect Night' co-produced with 'Overwatch 2' last year, is solidifying their global presence through an impressive promotion that showcases a portion of the album track 'So Cynical (Badum)' through this second collaboration.
'So Cynical (Badum),' featured in the trailer, is an impressive trendy track in the style of Jersey House, created by Kim Chaewon, Heo Yunjin, and Hong Eunchae. The song advises to boldly dive into love, as one might lose a precious person while hesitating out of fear of rejection. Its bold lyrics and bouncy melody resonate not only with FEARNOT (the fandom name) but also capture the ears of game users, harmonizing with 'Overwatch 2's new collection.
The heroes of 'Overwatch 2' in the video celebrated the second collaboration by performing the point choreography of LE SSERAFIM's mini album title track 'CRAZY.' They are also set to introduce a skin collection named after LE SSERAFIM's debut song 'FEARLESS.'
To commemorate this collaboration, the members will participate in a livestream event on the official Overwatch YouTube and Twitch channels on the 18th. On the 18th of last month, Sakura and Hong Eunchae showcased their impressive skills while playing the game with professional Overwatch players.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will release their fifth mini album 'HOT' on the 14th at 1 p.m. It includes five tracks in total: the title track 'HOT,' 'Born Fire,' 'Come Over,' 'Ash,' and the portion of 'So Cynical (Badum)' revealed in the Overwatch trailer.
