Earlier that afternoon, the sudden news of singer Hwi Seong’s demise was reported. Hwi Seong was found collapsed in a state of cardiac arrest at an APT. located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at approximately 6:29 p.m., at the age of 43.
The agency TAJOYENT released an official statement saying, "On March 10th, our artist Hwi Seong passed away. The deceased was found in a state of cardiac arrest at their home in Seoul and was pronounced dead. All fellow artists and employees at TAJOYENT are mourning the sudden news, including the bereaved family."
Jung Ah, who is also a junior in the music industry, expressed her sorrow over the sudden news. She later mentioned, "I had to postpone some of the prepared work schedules."
She added, "Please pray a lot so that Senior Hwi Seong can leave with a comfortable heart. I am very grateful to the representatives who understood. I truly hope such things do not happen again. I once again apologize to those who have been waiting, and I will rest a bit and meet you again."
