Shim Eun-jin of the group Baby V.O.X revealed her astonishment regarding the news of her hiatus.
Shim Eun-jin said on the 9th, "What? I’m going on hiatus? I didn’t know anything about this." Along with this, reports surfaced that Shim Eun-jin would suspend her activities with Baby V.O.X for in vitro fertilization procedures and that the group would continue as a four-member team.
However, this information is not true. It’s just that they can’t hold concerts, but there is no disruption to the release of Baby V.O.X albums.
This comes after the episode of tvN's "Amazing Saturday" (hereafter "NoRt") that aired on the 8th, where Lee Hee-jin, Kan Mi-yeon, and Yoon Eun-hye of Baby V.O.X appeared and discussed the group's activities, leading to talk of the four-member team.
Boom asked the Baby V.O.X members about their future plans, saying, "We showed a year-end stage and caused a stir. I kept being shown in the algorithm." Kan Mi-yeon replied, "First, our third sister is currently undergoing in vitro fertilization."
Yoon Eun-hye explained about the "third sister," saying, "It’s in order of age: Iji, Hee-jin, Eun-jin, and Mi-yeon unni. And I’m the fifth."
Kan Mi-yeon stated, "Since I’m undergoing in vitro fertilization, the concerts are temporarily halted. We have re-recorded songs that were loved in the past. 'Uyeon' and 'Killer' have already been released. A new song will come out on March 12." As Kan Mi-yeon mentioned, concerts are temporarily suspended, but the release of new songs will proceed as planned.
Shim Eun-jin had previously confessed to undergoing in vitro fertilization through MBN’s "Let's Go 4 (Gabojago4)" in February. Regarding her swollen appearance on the Gayo Daechukje screen, Shim Eun-jin explained, "The screen makes me look 1.5 times bigger. In reality, everyone looks really small. I’m currently undergoing in vitro fertilization. I’ve failed four times. I practiced every morning, and my whole body was swollen to the point that my ankle bones weren't visible."
