The drama 'Dear M,' which has been adrift for four years, is expected to be aired through KBS JOY instead of KBS.
A KBS JOY official noted on the 10th to OSEN regarding the scheduling of 'Dear M,' "We are currently reviewing the overall scheduling." Previously, a media outlet reported that 'Dear M' was scheduled to air as a KBS JOY Monday-Tuesday drama on April 14, but the official clarified that nothing has been confirmed.
'Dear M' is a raw, no-filter youth romance drama that unfolds a pink-hued mystery searching for protagonist 'M' of the SEOYON University community post that turned the school upside down. Park Hye-soo, Jae-hyun, No Jung-ui, Bae Hyun-sung, Lee Jin-hyuk, and Woo Dabi are among the cast.
This work was initially scheduled to be broadcast for the first time as a KBS Friday drama in February 2021 after completing filming early. However, the broadcast was indefinitely postponed due to the school violence allegations surrounding the main character Park Hye-soo. As a result, the project has been adrift for an astonishing four years.
Meanwhile, news that the drama is being discussed for scheduling on KBS JOY instead of KBS is causing a stir online once again. There is growing anticipation that the male lead Jae-hyun will finally unveil the drama this spring as he has received a national call.
