Actor Song Il-kook revealed the recent status of the rapidly growing triplets.
Song Il-kook appeared as a guest on TV Chosun's 'Huh Young-man's Dinner Journey' aired on the afternoon of the 9th and said, "I ran the washing machines all day because of the kids. Each person eats one large pizza. However, they can't eat hanwoo beef. One day, we accidentally went to a hanwoo bulgogi restaurant. Daehan asked what kind of meat it was, saying it's not what we usually eat."
Song Il-kook married Judge Jeong Seung-yeon in March 2008 and gave birth to triplets Daehan, Minkuk, and Manse on March 16, 2012. In 2014, he appeared with the triplets on KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman' and gained national love as the 'Superman family of Songdo.'
The triplets appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired in July of last year, and boasted heights that rivaled their father, as well as their uncle Jo Se-ho. At the time, Daehan, Minkuk, and Manse, famously called the 'Nation's triplets,' were in the 6th grade and well over 170 cm tall, and this year, they have grown into respectable middle school students.
Song Il-kook noted about the triplets, "Among the three, Manse is completely different. Daehan and Minkuk resemble their mother, but Manse looks just like me. When told to study, he can't concentrate and gets distracted (laughs). It's Daehan, Minkuk, and Manse." This remark garnered laughter.
However, last year, Manse shared some surprising updates. Manse proudly made it onto the list of the 11 winners of the bronze award in the 29th Korean Health Promotion Association's National Elementary School Anti-Smoking Essay and Drawing Contest held last year. It was truly commendable for Manse, who aimed for Hongdae Arts University. Winning third place in a regional kendo competition was a bonus.
Manse, who excels in sports and arts like his father, and Daehan and Minkuk, who are intelligent like their mother, are rapidly growing each day, making the virtual aunts smile with pride.
