The actor Song Il-gook's wife was proficient in five languages.
On the afternoon of the 9th, Song Il-gook appeared as a guest on TV Chosun's 'Heo Young-man's Baekban Gigae' and revealed that he had left his home in Songdo due to his wife's appointment. Nevertheless, he remarked, "After we settled in Songdo, we resolved many unsold property issues," expressing his unwavering love for Songdo.
Song Il-gook's wife is Judge Jeong Seung-yeon. Song Il-gook noted, "In fact, my wife's sense of taste has developed more than mine. I jokingly say being a judge is my side job. Going to France is also about the country of gastronomy," proudly sharing that his wife is a distinguished gourmet.
He continued, "My wife has been studying French with the determination to go to France. Since she was young, she loved cartoons, which has led her to a native level in Japanese. English is basic for her, and she even wrote her master's thesis in German," boasting that his wife speaks five languages: Korean, German, Japanese, French, and English.
In response, Heo Young-man asked, "How many languages does Song Il-gook speak?" A bit awkwardly smiling, Song Il-gook replied, "I speak Korean and North Korean," drawing laughter.
Song Il-gook married Judge Jeong Seung-yeon in March 2008 and welcomed triplets on March 16, 2012. In 2014, he starred in KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman' with the triplets and gained explosive love as the 'Songdo Superman Family'.
