Henry recalled a time he wanted to give up during the filming of 'Real Men.'
On the Oct. 10 broadcast of Channel A's 'Best Friends Documentary: Four-Person Table' (hereafter 'Four-Person Table'), the 'musical genius' singer Henry invited his close friends Sam Hammington, Kim Soo-ro, and Sayuri.
Sam Hammington and Kim Soo-ro recalled the time they worked with Henry on the military variety show 'Real Men.' They said they struggled a lot because of Henry.
Henry said, 'We did chemical warfare training and march. There were bad memories and good memories. I think of it every time I showered. It was my first time using a communal shower. It was shocking.' Everyone was puzzled by his remark that the shower was a space of memories, and Henry added, 'I am confident. Should I demonstrate?' which startled everyone.
Henry reminisced, 'I was really struggling at that time, but there was no camera in the shower. Back then, Sam hyung told me in English, 'If you can hold on a little longer, it will be okay. There's a reason for this.' I said I wanted to go home, but he held me in the shower and said, 'If you can just bear this, your life will change.'
Henry recalled, 'Before I appeared on the show, my manager promoted me everywhere, but there was no response. He told me I had failed. When 'Real Men' aired, my manager came in with tears in his eyes. It took over the real-time search terms. 'Henry, it's a hit! We made it!' He reminisced about the moment his life turned around.
