On the afternoon of 10th, Kim Soo-hyun's agency Gold Medalist warned of legal action, stating, "The claims made by the Garo-SEO Research Institute regarding actor Kim Soo-hyun through a YouTube broadcast are clear falsehoods."
Additionally, they noted, "Gaseyeon made many malicious claims against us and actor Kim Soo-hyun, suggesting that we colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin-ho to harass the late Kim Sae-ron actor, claiming that the late Kim Sae-ron had been in a romantic relationship with actor Kim Soo-hyun since the age of 15, asserting that the agency's response during the late Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident was inappropriate, and claiming that our agency's manager has ties with YouTuber Lee Jin-ho. However, all of these are falsehoods that cannot be overlooked, and we are considering the strongest legal action we can take against the dissemination of false information by the Garo-SEO Research Institute."
"We express our heartfelt sorrow at the news of the passing of the late Kim Sae-ron, who once worked with our agency, and we mourn for her. However, the dissemination of such false information by Gaseyeon is merely repeating the behavior of what is called 'cyber bullying' that the deceased struggled with in life. It not only damages our agency but also tarnishes the late's honor, and we will respond sternly to this."
The Kim Soo-hyun side additionally stated, "We earnestly request that these baseless falsehoods do not continue to be disseminated, expanded, or reproduced."
Meanwhile, according to the Seongdong Police Station, the late Kim Sae-ron was found collapsed at her home on the 16th of last month. A friend discovered her and reported it, but Kim Sae-ron passed away at the young age of 25.
