SM C&C plans to officially appoint Park Tae-hyun as the new representative at the board meeting scheduled for the 25th.
SM C&C is a subsidiary of the comprehensive entertainment group SM Entertainment and a K-Culture cultural content corporation, operating in four major institutional sectors: management, advertising, content, and travel.
Park Tae-hyun, the appointee, has accumulated around 30 years of experience in the entertainment sector since 1997 and has overseen management at SM C&C since 2012. He also appeared on shows like '1 Night 2 Days' as Kang Ho-dong's manager. Currently, he serves as the head of the management sector and is the director in charge of broadcasting media at SM Entertainment.
In particular, Park Tae-hyun has grown SM C&C's management sector to a top level in the country and was appointed as the new representative due to his high understanding of the company as a whole and his broad leadership that transcends sectors.
Park Tae-hyun, the newly appointed representative, stated, "Based on the management know-how I have built up over the years, I will strive for the growth of each institutional sector, including advertising, content, and travel, as well as to create synergy."
