Hello, this is Dokki.
I’ve been living quietly in the U.S. with my parents, who are in their 60s and 70s, for several years, and I’m writing again after a long time...
My mom, who has been suffering from pneumonia, diabetes, and strokes for over three years,
peacefully went to heaven on Feb. 14 just before her birthday on March 9,
after hospice removed all the devices to ensure she wouldn't suffer anymore...
Always having released birthday songs for myself, I am now releasing a song dedicated to my mom to commemorate her birthday without her for the first time...
I feel hurt because I’ve been showing only a more beautiful side to her for the past few years before she left.
Please rest comfortably, leaving all of my matters behind.
I dedicate this to all those in similar situations and to my beloved mom, who is now playing with the family that went to heaven before us, along with loved ones who have experienced the same thing and my dad, who has suddenly been left alone.
Please tell your parents that you love them and hug them more before it’s too late.
