The group Baby Monster has taken a strong leap forward, thanks to the full support of YG Entertainment's Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk.

Baby Monster officially debuted in the music industry by releasing their first mini album 'BABYMONS7ER' in April last year, immediately garnering significant attention with their overwhelming skills.

Baby Monster showcased an unrivaled live performance across music broadcasts, YouTube content, and entertainment shows, establishing their presence and beginning to create a buzz among global K-pop fans.

As a result, their music chart rankings have steadily risen, landing in the top tier and even taking the top spot on music broadcasts. Additionally, during the promotion of their first studio album 'DRIP', released in November last year, they demonstrated overwhelming live capabilities using handheld microphones, once again achieving a remarkable resurgence in music charts.

It was nothing less than the birth of a 'monster rookie’, as their team name suggests. In particular, Baby Monster launched their first world tour 'HELLO MONSTERS' less than a year after debuting, opening in January at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, generating significant attention.

Entering the KSPO DOME, known as 'the holy ground of K-pop,' is no easy feat for a rookie girl group that has not yet completed a year since their debut. Baby Monster filled the large venue with a powerful live performance and relaxed stage manners that made it hard to believe they were newcomers, showcasing their true talents.

Afterward, Baby Monster moved on to North America, rapidly entering major local arenas like the Newark Prudential Center and Los Angeles Kia Forum, each boasting a capacity of over 10,000 seats, and made a strong impression on local audiences. Supported by the hot local popularity, Baby Monster significantly expanded its North American tour, adding six more performances.

Having already established itself as a well-rounded, complete girl group, it will be exciting to see how much more Baby Monster will grow as time passes.

Behind Baby Monster's dazzling achievements is the strong backing of YG and Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk. Yang directly led the overall debut project of Baby Monster, leveraging his expertise gained from successfully producing K-pop representative groups such as Big Bang, 2NE1, Winner, BLACKPINK, and TREASURE to launch yet another 'monster rookie' that is poised to surprise global K-pop fans.

Debuting seven years after BLACKPINK, Baby Monster inherits YG's DNA from its predecessors while also breaking away from Teddy's influence, who was responsible for producing YG girl groups, shining a light on a new generation with various challenges and attempts. The insistence and perseverance of Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk regarding skills and musicality came together with the members' excellent capabilities, leading to this brilliance.

Chief Producer Yang, who was directly involved in all creative aspects including Baby Monster's music, has once again proven his capabilities as a pioneer leading the K-pop market with the successful launch of Baby Monster.

In addition to Baby Monster, BLACKPINK's new album and world tour are also expected in the latter half of the year, raising anticipation for how far YG's growth will extend this year.
