It has been over a month since Koo Jun-yeob's wife, the late Seohui Won, passed away, and Koo Jun-yeob's mother-in-law made a poignant statement.
On the 7th, Koo Jun-yeob's mother-in-law said, "Keep your sorrow to yourself," while revealing a song that her daughter sang before her death, expressing her longing for her late daughter. She also dug up old photos again, causing distress to friends and family.
Koo Jun-yeob's mother-in-law repeatedly expressed her feelings, saying, "There is a hole in my heart. How can I fill it?" and "I think justice cannot be restored. I cheer for the day I go to the battlefield," and, "He is a liar. I am a fool." Additionally, on the 28th of last month, she shared a song titled "Diamond," sung by Seohui Won.
The late Seohui Won passed away on the 2nd of last month while traveling in Japan with her family due to pneumonia caused by the flu, causing shock. It has been reported that the late Seohui Won left behind an estate worth approximately 600 million yuan (about 120 billion won). As a lawsuit with her ex-husband Wang Xiaopei is ongoing, many are interested in how the inheritance issue will be resolved.
Recently, it has been reported that the bereaved family agreed to divide Seohui Won's estate among Koo Jun-yeob and their two children, with each receiving one-third. However, due to Seohui Won's death, her biological father, Wang Sobi, has custody, meaning that the two children's inheritance will be managed by Wang Sobi.
Additionally, there is increasing curiosity about the fate of the luxurious mansion located in Taipei, which was the newlywed home of Koo Jun-yeob and Seohui Won. The mansion is valued at 460 million Taiwan dollars (about 20.2 billion won) and it is reported that they need to repay a loan of 1 million Taiwan dollars (approximately 43.95 million won) every month.
If the heirs wish to maintain the house, they must continue to repay the loan, and if no one is available to repay the mortgage on the dwelling, the mansion could be foreclosed and put up for auction by the bank.
According to a report on the 7th by Taiwan's ETtoday, Koo Jun-yeob and Wang Xiaopei have reportedly agreed to take responsibility for repaying the mortgage on the mansion where the two lived together during the estate distribution of the late Seohui Won. Koo Jun-yeob and Wang Xiaopei have already concluded negotiations regarding the distribution of the late Seohui Won's property through their lawyers. It is known that Koo Jun-yeob is the only adult heir to Seohui Won's estate, so he will be fully responsible for the mortgage on the mansion.
