The late Jesús Guerrero, known as the hairstylist for singer Rosé of BLACKPINK, had been unwell for several months before his passing, reportedly losing about 9.07 kg.
A representative for the deceased noted on the 6th (local time) to TMZ that Guerrero, who unexpectedly passed away at the age of 34 on Feb. 22, had been suffering from unusual symptoms since September of last year.
The deceased lost 20 pounds (approximately 9.07 kg) and complained of chills and fever. Despite not feeling well, Guerrero continued to work overseas in places like the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates.
In the days leading up to his death, he had been working in the United Arab Emirates with Jennifer Lopez. Throughout his life, the deceased worked as a hairstylist for Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and others.
The deceased, originally from Houston, returned to the U.S. on Feb. 21 and was transported to a hospital in Los Angeles, where he passed away the next day. An autopsy has been completed, and no drugs or alcohol were found.
Rosé expressed her condolences on the 24th of last month, saying, "You were the sweetest angel when I needed you most. I really love you. And I already miss you so much." She also shared a photo with the deceased.
In the released photo, the late Guerrero was seen assisting Rosé during the album work and photoshoot.
Guerrero collaborated on Rosé's first full-length album 'Rosie.' The styling in that album attracted significant attention. As they built a relationship through their work together, Rosé conveyed her affection and condolences.
Jennifer Lopez also conveyed her condolences. On the 25th (local time), she recalled the deceased, saying, "It's no surprise that your mother named you Jesus. You were gentle, kind, and lovely, quiet, and humble, yet so powerful, that the moment you entered a room, your presence was felt."
Additionally, she praised the deceased's talent, stating, "You never demanded the spotlight. You didn't need to shout to be recognized. Your heart and talent effortlessly achieved what your artistry did."
She continued, "I have struggled to process this over the past few days. In fact, I'm still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family must be grieving like all of us who knew you. Your spirit has moved on to the next stage beyond this life, but I know wherever you are, there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, dear angel..." and shared a black-and-white image of the deceased.
