Actress Park Hae-mi expressed her affection for her son Hwang Seong-jae on 'You're All Grown Up but Not Going Out.'
On the 8th episode of 'You're All Grown Up but Not Going Out' aired on MBC every1 MBN, Park Hae-mi's son Hwang Seong-jae prepared for camping. Hwang Seong-jae said, "This is my hobby, camping gear. To my mom, it seems like a lot, but it’s actually true. I wanted to show my mom the taste that feels crazy when going camping. I wanted to enjoy a gentle breeze and stargazing at night."
So far, Park Hae-mi has expressed very negative opinions about the camping gear that Hwang Seong-jae has collected. Park Hae-mi noted, "I had an ultimate fantasy about camping. I had a dream-like fantasy of camping with someone I love, but on a day like today, you shouldn’t go out," showing a negative reaction once again.
On the day they set off for camping, the perceived temperature was minus 20 degrees. Hwang Seong-jae pleaded, "No remarks like 'Why are we doing this today?'" and added, "No questions about 'Did you buy this again?' or 'How much was this?'" He also requested, "And from the moment you get out of the car, please try not to look at your phone as much as possible." However, Park Hae-mi began her nagging before they even arrived. Park Hae-mi responded decisively, saying, "Still, jobs have to be done." Hwang Seong-jae sighed, saying, "Sure, mom, if you don’t do the work, the house will fall apart."
Upon arriving at the beach, Park Hae-mi exclaimed, "I really love the sea. It felt like many grievances were being washed away with the sea," but then coldly shouted, "It’s so nice! Let’s go home! What’s the point of suffering on a cold day like this?" Hwang Seong-jae, as usual, ignored her and set up the tent.
Hwang Seong-jae said, "Normally, I would close the door and avoid mom, but since it's my first camping trip with mom, I wanted to avoid fighting with her." He chose his own way. However, Park Hae-mi remarked, "You better not just keep buying products related to camping; why not pour your passion into something else? I just can’t seem to like it at all," sighing every time she saw the camping gear.
The bad weather divided the two. Hwang Seong-jae encouraged Park Hae-mi, saying, "Isn't this the West Coast? Let’s dig clams in the mudflat." Park Hae-mi sighed deeply and went out to the mudflat, getting caught in the winter sea breeze. Hwang Seong-jae finally said, "Sorry, mom!" as an apology.
Afterward, Hwang Seong-jae fully prepared for a camping meal to make amends. He grilled kimchi and pork belly together, and boiled bean sprouts with ramen. In the warm atmosphere between them, Hwang Seong-jae opened up.
Hwang Seong-jae noted, "The way you talk to me makes me rush. When my brother came, he had mediocre skills, I admit. However, the way you talk to me like a vaccination makes me fear it as self-defense."
Park Hae-mi conveyed her affection for her son by stating, "To let my son grow up, I have to let him go, but part of me wants to keep him close." She continued, "Watching this today, I think he’s ready to be independent, not like a kangaroo. It’s a pity, but I feel like I will have to let my son go someday."
