In 'I Live Alone,' BTS member J-Hope revealed his 4-year-older biological sister who looks just like him.
In the episode aired on the 7th on MBC's entertainment program 'I Live Alone,' J-Hope's beautiful sister was revealed.
J-Hope, living in a mansion in Los Angeles for music work, shared his daily life. While searching for 'inspiration' for his music work, J-Hope prepared dinner with the ingredients he had bought at the market. He completed L.A.-style steak and kimchi stew full of Korean flavors, saying, "Today is my feast." Without looking at a recipe, he made food in his lively style, declaring that "cooking is a feeling," surprising everyone with his culinary skills.
J-Hope, who traveled in a convertible, had plans. He met a mysterious woman, who turned out to be his biological sister, sharing a striking resemblance, with a 4-year age gap. J-Hope noted, "My sister happened to be in America for business, so the timing was right," adding, "We have a close bond; we are quite close." He reminisced, "As a younger brother, I often bothered her and played a lot of pranks, but now that I am older, I want to take good care of her," with everyone agreeing that he is "the best younger brother."
J-Hope commented on his sister being able to order in English fluently, acknowledging that "my sister studied abroad in the U.S. when she was young, so it's comfortable being with someone who speaks English." When his sister asked if he had done much English, J-Hope turned into 'younger brother mode' and shared his experience after his first drive-thru challenge. He noted, "Being in L.A., I definitely mix words when I speak, so I'm getting used to it," and his sister advised, "You need to keep immersing yourself."
Additionally, that day, J-Hope shared his concerns about the music work he was doing in L.A. When his sister asked, "Do you feel good about the track?" J-Hope replied, "I think I like it, but I'm worried," adding, "I have top producers in L.A. around me, which adds pressure," and explained, "There's a time limit, and things to do are limited, so that is somewhat burdensome."
However, not wanting to worry his sister, J-Hope said, "I think it's turning out well," to which his sister reassured him, "Then that's good."
