On MBC's 'I Live Alone,' BTS member j-hope enjoys brunch with 'military-style mixed(?) cereal.' His nostalgic look as he mixes various cereals draws attention, and his appearance with an unexpected item surprises rainbow members.
The episode airing today (7th) on MBC's 'I Live Alone' (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Soo-bin, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Gi-young) will showcase the second story of j-hope's life in L.A. and the changed daily life of Giann84 as we enter 2025.
The video released ahead of the show features j-hope eating breakfast. After substituting breakfast with a morning apple last week, j-hope is now having an never-ending brunch time. In particular, j-hope exclaims, "I'm going military style!" while preparing various cereals. He mixes four types of cereal in a large bowl and adds low-fat milk to complete the 'military-style mixed(?) cereal.'
At that moment, the rainbow members notice a mysterious object on j-hope's calf and wonder, "What is that?" The object turns out to be a yoga ring for reducing calf swelling. J-hope shyly admits that he has made his calves bigger from running a lot in the military and is managing the swelling. His natural look, eating cereal while wearing pajamas and a yoga ring, adds to his charm.
Renewed by sweet cereal, j-hope adds protein with a fried egg. He also eats leftover kimchi stew from the night before, but unexpectedly says, "I feel like I need to eat real kimchi(?)," surprising everyone as he takes kimchi out of the refrigerator. J-hope, lost in happiness, dances with excitement while raising his hand, leaving Park Na-rae surprised and laughing, saying, "Can you really dance with that on?"
Meanwhile, Giann84 shows off his 'Saving84' side, lost in the joy of mending. Giann84, who could not wear a gifted hat because it didn't fit, takes on the repair himself. Earlier, he had self-repaired a massage chair with sewing. He boldly cuts the back of the hat to adjust its size.
In disbelief at Giann84's 'unimaginable mending method,' Key remarks, "You cut the back?" Park Na-rae laughs, saying, "It's not so much mending a hat as it is doing plastic surgery(?), like front cuts and back cuts." Giann84, who doesn't throw away old items but rather sews them back together, begins to sew a disposable mask onto the hat.
The rainbow members are momentarily shocked by Giann84's unexpected 'Giann-style thinking,' then are amazed again by his meticulous sewing skills. Seeing Giann84's sincere dedication to sewing, Code Kunst relates, "It seems like he has a mindset that he should use what he received as a gift well," while Park Na-rae marvels, "It's so sensational that it looks like a designer piece."
