'What do you do when you play?' Yoo Jae-suk and Haha find their conscience on the road with Lee Kyung-kyu in 2025.
The March 8 broadcast of MBC's 'What do you do when you play?' (directed by Kim Jin-yong, Lee Joo-won, Wang Jong-seok, Ahn Ji-seon, Bang Sung-soo/writer Noh Min-sun) will depict Lee Kyung-kyu, known as the 'lend of variety shows,' working with members on the legendary variety show 'Conscience Refrigerator' that he wants to do again. In 'Conscience Refrigerator Returns 2025,' they plan to search for conscience on the road and at subway stations.
First broadcast in November 1996, 'Lee Kyung-kyu Goes' is known as the origin of public interest variety shows. Lee Kyung-kyu conducted a corner called 'Conscience Refrigerator' to find the protagonist who keeps the stop line on the road, awakening societal norms and the value of conscience across the nation. Lee Kyung-kyu joked, "These days, when I see people keeping the stop line, I sometimes cry while driving(?)," praising his own contributions to evoke laughter.
'Conscience Refrigerator Returns' will look for a protagonist who observes a temporary stop at the red flashing light in children's protection zones. Although a law was amended in 2022, many people are still unaware of it, leading Yoo Jae-suk and Haha to worry, saying, "Will a protagonist appear today?" In contrast, Lee Kyung-kyu shows confidence in success, revealing his original assurance.
In the released photos, Lee Kyung-kyu, Yoo Jae-suk, and Haha appear with tense expressions as they monitor the road from the situation room. Even during conversation, Yoo Jae-suk fails to take his eyes off the monitor, demonstrating his 'hawk-like eyes.' A nervous Haha asks Lee Kyung-kyu, "You have a good intuition, right? Will we succeed?" However, Lee Kyung-kyu, losing his early confidence, shifts his demeanor, provoking laughter.
Lee Kyung-kyu recalls filming 'Conscience Refrigerator' late into the night, feeling frustrated as he wonders if a protagonist who keeps their conscience will appear among the many vehicles. Viewers can check it out on MBC's 'What do you do when you play?' airing Saturday, March 8, at 6:30 p.m.
