Actor Jo Woo-jin and Lee Byung-hun boasted a fierce chemistry.
On the 7th, the production report for the film "Seungbu" was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul, attended by Lee Byung-hun, Ko Chang-seok, Hyeon Bong-sik, Moon Jeong-hee, and director Kim Hyung-joo.
The film "Seungbu" (directed by Kim Hyung-joo, distributed by Vypeom Studio Co., Ltd., produced by Film Company Wolgwang Co., Ltd., co-produced by BH Entertainment) tells the story of Korea's top Go legend, Cho Hun-hyeon (played by Lee Byung-hun), who, after losing a match against his disciple Lee Chang-ho (played by Yoo Ah-in), challenges the summit once again with his natural competitive spirit.
On that day, Jo Woo-jin, who played the rival professional Go player "Nam Ki-chul," expressed his feelings about reuniting with Lee Byung-hun after working together in "The Outlaws" and "The Fortress."
Jo Woo-jin said, "I always feel excited when I'm with him. Just looking into his eyes creates a level of immersion that didn't exist before; he guided me well as my co-actor. Honestly, despite his minimal acting, I was impressed by how he could convey all his emotions, more so than any recent scenes I've encountered."
In response, Lee Byung-hun said, "In my role, I actually regard Jo Woo-jin as an opponent I look down on and feel like I can handle easily. But strangely, when I'm in front of Jo Woo-jin, I find myself touching my wrists and ankles as if I'm inadvertently shrinking. Maybe it's because our first meeting in "The Outlaws" was intense, but it wasn't comfortable."
