Comedian and singer Son Heon-soo made a significant resolution.
On the 7th, Son Heon-soo posted on his personal social media account, "Seven years ago, I went into the entertainment business and incurred a huge debt, vowing never to do it again, but I have dipped my hands back into it again."
Son Heon-soo said, "While taking off the copper ring my wife was wearing, she encouraged me, saying that with the three ugliest people in Korea and this song, it should do well, so try it once more," adding, "Today is finally the release day for the 'ugliest trio' digital single. I'm so nervous."
The released photo shows Son Heon-soo with the new group "ugliest trio." The group consists of comedians Oh Jeong-tae, Park Hwi-soon, and Oh Ji-heon, and Son Heon-soo stated, "Today's the first event we have scheduled. Thank you to the owner of the gukbap restaurant."
Earlier, Son Heon-soo noted that he gained substantial popularity with nonsense jokes immediately after his debut and shot over 70 advertisements. However, he mentioned that he wanted to try something new, and with the production of films, advertisements, and releases of disco and trot albums, he lost 1 billion won and incurred over 500 million won in debt.
Son Heon-soo said, "Failing turned out to be a remedy rather than poison for me. That incident made me reflect on myself. Miraculously, I received an offer to appear on '6 o'clock, my hometown.' The production team initially asked me to try it for just four weeks, so I did my best. Then I became a regular cast member."
Meanwhile, Son Heon-soo married a woman seven years his junior in 2023. He welcomed a daughter in December of last year.
