While discussing health updates that day, Byeon Jeong-soo mentioned to Yoon Hyun-sook, "But don't be alone for a while. It was too dangerous sleeping together yesterday. You experienced hypoglycemia."
Earlier, Yoon Hyun-sook confessed to suffering from diabetes. At that time, she revealed, "I lost weight down to 38 kg and couldn't stand up. The doctor said I was in a dangerous state where the heart muscle was also weakening, which could lead to cardiac arrest," shocking many.
Due to type 1 diabetes, Yoon Hyun-sook is constantly wearing a continuous glucose monitor. Byeon Jeong-soo recalled, "I thought it was set to alarm at dawn because it beeped, but that wasn't it. While sleeping and snoring, her blood sugar suddenly dropped."
Yoon Hyun-sook said, "Right at that time, I wake up with cold sweats. I guess it's a fight for survival," to which Byeon Jeong-soo reflected, "She was next to me, and I didn't know what I could do to help."
In response, Yoon Hyun-sook added, "The doctor told me not to be alone. That's part of the reason I came to Korea. Still, I can at least call my family to come. In the U.S., there's no one who can rush over."
