Jung Saem Mool, who actually dreamed of being a painter, noted, "I couldn't attend school, so as soon as I became a high school student, I looked for a part-time job," mentioning that he gave up on his dream of attending art school. He added, "I had to give up everything, cutting off contact with friends and letting go of my dream of being a painter."
At 17, he said he started his first part-time job as a foreign exchange student, earning 47,000 won a month, which he contributed to his family's living expenses.
Jung Saem Mool mentioned, "Instead, I wanted to learn the pros and cons from professors and grow into a good adult," and noted, "30 years later, at 47, I became a special lectures instructor at Yonsei University for three years." On the day he transitioned from a foreign exchange student to a special lectures instructor, he indicated that he experienced all the things he could not enjoy at 17. Reflecting on his heartfelt desire for success, Jung Saem Mool stated, "When the moment came to stand on that podium after time passed, everything was healed."
Now recognized for his skills in makeup, Jung Saem Mool shared that, "I was introduced to top stars through Lee Seung Yeon's connections, such as Go So Young and Kim Hee Sun," recounting his story of becoming the artist for stars. He now manages stars including Jun Ji Hyun, Song Hye Kyo, Kim Tae Hee, Lee Hyori, and Tang Wei, revealing that his first salary of 47,000 won skyrocketed to 4.7 million won, noting that his salary increased to over 7 million won after eight years.
