Rumors are swirling around actor Kim Seon-ho's move to Fantagio.
On the 6th, Fantagio stated regarding Kim Seon-ho's '2 billion won contract fee theory' that "it is difficult to confirm."
Earlier, Kim Seon-ho's contract with Salt Entertainment expired in February. As his contract was about to end, speculation about his future actions regarding an exclusive contract with High Zium Studio arose, but High Zium cautiously stated, "It is true we had a meeting, but nothing has been confirmed."
Subsequently, on the 1st of this month, news of Kim Seon-ho's exclusive contract with Fantagio was reported. Fantagio announced, "Actor Kim Seon-ho has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio," and noted that "Kim Seon-ho is an actor who receives great love for his stable acting skills and unique charm, and we will provide full support so that he can showcase his abilities across various works and fields."
Ultimately, Kim Seon-ho has settled at Fantagio instead of High Zium, where Song Joong-ki is affiliated, and will be working alongside actors Baek Yoon-sik, Cha Eun-woo, Ong Seong-woo, Gong Min-jung, and Kang Ye-won.
Amid this, rumors about Kim Seon-ho's contract with Fantagio surfaced, regarding the '2 billion won contract fee theory.' As a move to High Zium seemed likely, interest shifted to the reasons he chose Fantagio, with claims arising that the reason was due to the contract fee of around 2 billion won. The reported contract fee is said to be at a top industry level, making it a point of much attention.
In particular, the rumor that started with a 2 billion won fee is growing increasingly elaborate. There are claims that he received a contract fee in the 3 billion won range, and reports emerged suggesting that his previous termination with Salt Entertainment was not amicable, with background information claiming he needed a large contract fee for purchasing an APT.
According to reports, Kim Seon-ho has expressed his need for funds to purchase an APT. in Seoul, and it has been reported that he was even looking at real estate properties before the announcement of his exclusive contract with Fantagio.
However, regarding such rumors, Fantagio has been withholding comments, stating, "It is difficult to confirm details related to the contract fee and other contract-related issues. We ask for your understanding."
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho is expected to continue his active career after joining Fantagio. He has announced a special appearance in the upcoming Netflix series "Deceived in a Big Way," which is set to be released next month, and is looking forward to the release of Netflix's "Can This Love Be Translated?" and Disney+'s "Bewitching." Fantagio urged, "We ask for continued support and love for Kim Seon-ho, who has become a new member of Fantagio."
