Actress Lee Ha-nui is pregnant with her second child.
On the 7th, her agency Team Hope stated to OSEN, 'Lee Ha-nui is pregnant with her second child,' adding, 'It is still in the early stages.'
Lee Ha-nui married a non-celebrity in 2021 and welcomed her first daughter in June of the following year. While filming the MBC drama 'Flowers Bloom at Night', she even performed wire action despite being pregnant.
Despite the intense filming, Lee Ha-nui, who safely announced the birth of her daughter, is now pregnant with her second child three years after giving birth and is currently focused on prenatal education. During an appearance on Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary - Four-Person Dining Table' that aired on the 4th, when the topic of her second child came up, she said, 'I am of age...,' but shortly after, she announced her pregnancy.
However, since it is still in the early stages and has not yet entered the stabilization phase, the agency stated regarding the expected date of delivery, 'It is difficult to disclose,' expressing a cautious stance.
Meanwhile, Lee Ha-nui is currently embroiled in a tax evasion allegation amounting to 6 billion won. In response, Team Hope stated on the 7th, 'The tax audit conducted last year is part of the 'Corporate Business Artist Irregular Comprehensive Tax Audit (Audit Period: 5 Years),' and I can clearly state that no facts of tax evasion or tax fraud, such as income report omissions or false expense claims, were found during this audit process.'
Regarding the double taxation of corporate tax and individual income tax, they said, 'The tax authority interpreted that the income from entertainment activities of artists holding corporate businesses should be taxed as personal income rather than corporate income subject to corporate tax. As a result, personal income tax was re-imposed on the amount that had already been reported and paid as corporate income through a tax representative.'
'Furthermore, regarding the current state of tax assessment, it was stated, 'As a result, double taxation and additional tax have occurred on the same income, and significantly more was levied than the amount based on the maximum tax rate defined by tax law. Currently, the tax assessment has not been finalized. We plan to actively clarify issues regarding double taxation and legal interpretations through legal procedures.'
