In 'The Land of Villains,' Oh Na-ra, Seo Hyun-cheol, Choi Ye-na, Han Sung-min, and Jung Min-kyu come together as a comedic family.

The new Wednesday-Thursday sitcom 'The Land of Villains,' set to premiere on the 19th on KBS2, is a situational comedy that captures the sometimes rough yet sometimes warm daily lives of K-zoomma sisters and their quirky family, written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon, directed by Kim Young-jo and Choi Jeong-eun, and produced by Studio Plum.

In the drama, Oh Na-ra plays a dictator housewife who dominates the family, while Seo Hyun-cheol plays Na-ra's husband and the sensitive boss. Choi Ye-na portrays Go Won-hee, who often clashes with Na-ra but ends up living in her house and becomes like family. Han Sung-min plays the eldest child, Seo I-na, while Jung Min-kyu is cast as Seo Young-hoon, the youngest son who attends the same school as Won-hee.

After a group poster was released, garnering significant attention, today (7th), Oh Na-ra (as Oh Na-ra), Seo Hyun-cheol (as Seo Hyun-cheol), Choi Ye-na (as Go Won-hee), Han Sung-min (as Seo I-na), and Jung Min-kyu (as Seo Young-hoon) come together as an unprecedented villain family to showcase diverse chemistry. This raises questions about the family dynamics of Na-ra's household.

▲ Dictator housewife Oh Na-ra X Sensitive boss Seo Hyun-cheol

Na-ra keeps her tumultuous love story a secret to protect the mental health of Hyun-cheol, who was previously conservative. Subsequently, Na-ra cannot hide her competitive spirit and takes control of the family. Meanwhile, Hyun-cheol searches for the villain that is harming his mental health. Will he be able to identify the villain among his MZ company employees, wife Na-ra, disobedient children, and sister-in-law Oh Yu-jin (So Yu-jin) living next door, and sister-in-law Song Jin-woo (Song Jin-woo)? Furthermore, expectations are high for the chaotic couple chemistry that the dictator housewife Na-ra and sensitive boss Hyun-cheol will display.

▲ The story of the outsider Choi Ye-na

Won-hee is an elite student vying for the top two ranks with Song Gang (Eun-chan), Yu-jin's son. Growing up in a wealthy family, she faces an unexpected turning point in life. After her personal life, which was unknown to anyone, is revealed to Na-ra, Won-hee becomes a family member. Viewers are curious about what event led to the reversal of the wealthy daughter Won-hee’s life, and how she will create comic chemistry with her new family. Additionally, Won-hee plans to help Young-hoon with his first love by becoming his dating coach, drawing attention to their collaboration.

▲ Real siblings Han Sung-min X Jung Min-kyu

Na-ra and Hyun-cheol's daughter, I-na, is a tyrant who, contrary to her innocent appearance, resembles her mother in being bold and a heavy drinker. Being the older sister, she constantly gets her younger brother Young-hoon to run errands and even takes his allowance. In this situation, Young-hoon writes lyrics expressing his frustration and anger towards his reckless sister I-na, dreaming of becoming a rapper. The ups and downs of the K-siblings will pique viewer curiosity, and the diverse stories they will present add to the interest.

Thus, Na-ra's family is expected to convey empathy, emotion, and laughter through their comic and cheerful daily lives. Viewers are eager to see how these talented actors — Oh Na-ra, Seo Hyun-cheol, Choi Ye-na, Han Sung-min, and Jung Min-kyu — will drive the story.

The new Wednesday-Thursday sitcom 'The Land of Villains' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 19th.
