Remembering her days working part-time in Myeong-dong, Jeong Saem-mool said, "I went to the hair salon with my sister and saw my first makeup artist," adding, "It looked similar to the painting I had given up for a living, and when I talked about my new dream, a friend of my mother's gave me tuition, and miraculously, I got to study makeup." Dr. Oh Eun-young said, "There are precious connections in life," feeling touched.
Jeong Saem-mool, who had to work for the mixed group 'Jam,' said, "I had to wait for 4 hours; it was humiliating, but I waited," and added, "After the wait, I desperately made my appeal and got the job."
He recalled that while working with actress Lee Seung-yeon, he bloomed, saying, "I did a drama with Lee Seung-yeon, but later I learned of my dismissal through television." Jeong Saem-mool thought, "I felt like my meal ticket was cut off, so I thought I should do everything I can," and said that he made a scrapbook just for Lee Seung-yeon and waited for hours in front of the broadcasting station. Jeong Saem-mool recalled, "When Lee Seung-yeon saw me, she was surprised, asked me to show her the materials, and recognized me as great, getting the job on the spot." Thus, he became dedicated to Lee Seung-yeon's makeup.
After being recognized for his skills, Jeong Saem-mool said, "I was introduced to top stars through Lee Seung-yeon's connections, such as Ko So-young and Kim Hee-sun," sharing the story of being introduced as artists to the stars. He took on stars including Jeon Ji-hyun, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Tae-hee, Lee Hyori, and Tang Wei, stating, "My first salary jumped from 47,000 won to 4.7 million won, and after 8 years, my salary rose to over 7 million won," drawing attention.
