In 'I Live Alone,' BTS member j-hope surprised viewers by revealing his biological sister.
On the July 7 broadcast of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone,' j-hope appeared with his sister.
That day, while seeking 'inspiration' for his music work and enjoying his own time of relaxation, j-hope prepared dinner with ingredients he bought from the market. He stated, "Today is my feast," and completed a Los Angeles-style steak accompanied by kimchi stew rich in Korean flavors. Without even looking at a recipe, he expressed, "Cooking is instinct," and his exuberant style amazed everyone with his cooking skills.
In particular, j-hope's flushed face, well-prepared with both atmosphere and taste, made the viewers salivate. After serving kimchi stew and steak, j-hope also brought out champagne, noting, "My face turns red when I drink." At this, Jeon Hyun-moo remarked, "You can't drink, just like me," leading to laughter as the two called out "parallel theory." Observing j-hope sleeping after drinking, Jeon Hyun-moo repeatedly exclaimed, "This is so similar to me," and was amazed.
At this point, the 'Rainbow' members noticed a mysterious object on j-hope's calf and wondered, "What is that?" The object turned out to be a yoga ring for reducing calf swelling. J-hope shyly confessed that he had gained calf size from running a lot in the military and was managing the swelling. His natural appearance, eating cereal while wearing pajamas and the yoga ring, made him even more relatable.
Suddenly, j-hope fell into a dance frenzy with happiness, raising his hand high and expressing excitement. Park Na-rae responded, "Can you dance with that on?" and was filled with laughter.
Following this, j-hope was seen moving in a convertible. It turned out he had an appointment. He met a mysterious woman who looked remarkably like him; she was his biological sister, just four years older. j-hope stated, "It was perfect timing as my sister was in the U.S. for business," adding, "We are very close and have a strong bond."
