A critical emergency situation is depicted in 'My Precious Child.'
This coming Friday (7th) at 8:10 p.m., Channel A's 'Parenting These Days - My Precious Child' will reveal the story of a 4-year-old son who has been desperately holding in his bowel movements for the past five months.
On this day, a couple with a 4-year-old son will appear in the studio. The two, who reportedly met through an acquaintance, appear holding hands with bright smiles, drawing admiration from the panelists. However, the concerns they express about their precious child are serious. Curiosity grows about what problem the precious child might have.
In the observed footage, the precious child is seen visiting the hospital with their mother. The X-ray examination, conducted while comforting the crying child, reveals that the colon, as well as the rectum, is filled with hard stools. The condition of the precious child, who has been refusing to defecate for five months, is more serious than expected, leaving the studio in shock.
Feeling the gravity of the situation, the mother makes every effort for the precious child's bowel movements. She prepares foods good for the intestines, mixes laxatives into milk to give to the child, and reads bowel-related storybooks while sitting in front of the toilet to help the child become familiar with it. However, despite the mother's earnest efforts, the precious child ultimately fails to defecate. Dr. Oh, who observes this process, expresses disappointment, noting that while the mother's effort is touching, she is not identifying the underlying problem.
Meanwhile, observing the mother prepare snacks for the precious child, Dr. Oh shows concern. The mother attempts to intervene even in the way the precious child eats by tearing off the snacks one layer at a time. Suddenly, the precious child, who is firmly stopped by the mother, starts shouting and throwing a fit, repeatedly expressing the troubling statement, 'I want to calm down.' Dr. Oh firmly points out that this is a problem of developmental issues.
Will the precious child succeed in comfortable bowel movements with Dr. Oh's solutions? You can find out this coming Friday (7th) at 8:10 p.m. on Channel A's 'Parenting These Days - My Precious Child.'
