Singer Baekho, formerly of NU'EST, is leaving Pledis.
On the 6th, Pledis Entertainment officially stated to OSEN, "Baekho's exclusive contract will expire on March 14."
Pledis explained, "We have been in earnest discussions with Baekho for a long time regarding the direction of future activities, and after careful consideration, we have agreed to terminate the exclusive contract."
Furthermore, they noted, "Baekho intends to conclude his official activities as an artist under Pledis Entertainment by releasing a digital single on March 14 to express his gratitude to the fans who have supported him. We extend our deep gratitude and support to Baekho, with whom we have worked for a long time. We also wish that Baekho's new challenges lead to even more brilliant paths, and we sincerely support his bright future."
They added, "And I would like to thank all the dOnO fans who have always been by our side once again. Please watch Baekho's new journey with warm hearts and offer your generous support in the future."
Meanwhile, Baekho debuted in 2012 as a member of Pledis' first boy group, NU'EST, and has engaged in various activities. Even after the expiration of NU'EST's contract in 2022, he remained at Pledis and showcased his talents as a singer-songwriter, participating in musicals, variety shows, and more. With the termination of the exclusive contract on March 14, he will bring his 13-year journey to a close.
