Broadcaster Kim Dae-ho, who confessed to already having used his retirement funds, wished for "freedom success."
Today (6th), MBC's "Save Me! Homes" (directed by Jeong Da-hee, Kim Moon-seob, So In-ji, Heo Ja-yun, Kim Wan-cheol) will feature an exploration of a silver town in the city.
This week's Homes will be themed around the exploration of a silver town in the city. First, Kim Suk noted, "As the ultra-aged society has begun in earnest, interest in silver towns has increased. The perspectives once seen as 'Koryo burying' are now becoming the dreams of the elderly," explaining the purpose of this exploration. Park Na-rae also explained, "Recent silver towns offer various services and community programs that enhance the quality of life in old age, beyond just being a simple living space," raising expectations.
This exploration will be joined by broadcaster Kim Dae-ho, comedian Lim Woo-il, and Jang Dong-min. The three will explore a silver town located in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu. It is standard to have safety interiors installed for the elderly, and the spacious master bedroom offers an impressive rock view that is hard to take one's eyes off. Kim Dae-ho exclaimed, "It's a natural biorarium. I really like it."
The three climbed to a rooftop garden where they could enjoy views of both Bukak Mountain and Bukhansan. As Kim Dae-ho took off his socks and walked on the reflexology board, Lim Woo-il and Jang Dong-min followed behind him. Amidst the biting cold of minus 2 degrees Celsius, they displayed a quadrupedal walk and screamed, igniting their passion and raising anticipation for the broadcast.
Next, the three headed to Jongam-dong in Seongbuk-gu for their exploration. It is reported that a total of 239 households reside in the Seongbuk-gu silver town. Among the various communities in the silver town, the religious rooms stand out with separate rooms for "Buddhism, Catholicism, and Protestantism." Kim Dae-ho, who identified as non-religious, attracted attention by entering each religious room to make wishes for "freedom success."
They then headed to a silver town located at Kondae Entrance in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu. Positioned among optimal infrastructures such as universities and department stores, it is a 50-story building, with some floors actually being used as hotels. During the introduction of various communities, they meet seniors who are active in a dance sports club. Kim Dae-ho revealed, "I made it to the TOP 5 in MBC Dancing with the Stars Season 3," then showcased the rumba in front of the seniors, attracting attention. In response, Lim Woo-il humorously performed his catchphrase "Jaas~Jaas~" alongside cha-cha-cha moves in front of the seniors.
The exploration of the silver town in the city will be revealed tonight at 10 p.m. on MBC's "Save Me! Homes."
