The late Seo Hee-won's ex-husband Wang So-bi is drawing attention by confessing his feelings through a live broadcast.
Recently, Wang So-bi revealed during his SNS live broadcast, "The condition of the two children has improved significantly. The children are currently living with their mother."
He added, "As a father, I was worried about the physical and mental health of the children, so I decided to be with them. It is a difficult time, but I will grit my teeth and overcome this," also revealing that he is living with Seo Hee-won's two children.
In particular, he said, "I hope the children can return to a normal life as soon as possible. Although the children lost their biological mother, their stepmother is taking good care of them," adding, "I hope adult disputes do not destroy the children’s world."
Seo Hee-won divorced Chinese businessman Wang So-bi in November 2021, following 10 years of marriage, and remarried Koo Jun-yeob in March of the following year. Subsequently, Seo Hee-won shocked many by passing away on the morning of the 2nd due to pneumonia from influenza while traveling in Japan recently with her family.
Before the grief of the bereaved family had even settled, noise around Seo Hee-won's large fortune began. This is because the deceased had conflicts with her ex-husband Wang So-bi over unpaid living expenses, including child support, property division, and custody issues until her passing, thus drawing interest in the whereabouts of Seo Hee-won's estate, valued at 120 billion won.
In response, Koo Jun-yeob stated on his personal SNS, "All of the inheritance is something that Hee-won worked hard to accumulate to protect her beloved family during her lifetime, so I plan to give all authority regarding it to my mother-in-law," adding, "I will take legal action to ensure that the children's rights are protected through a lawyer so that bad people cannot reach them until they become adults."
Meanwhile, allegations arose that Wang So-bi owed 250 million Taiwan dollars (about 10.9 billion won) to Seo Hee-won during her lifetime, causing controversy. Seo Hee-won's mother, Hwang Chun-mae, left a significant post on SNS stating, "He is a liar, and I am a fool," which attracted attention.
Amid numerous speculations, it has recently been reported that the bereaved family has agreed under Taiwanese law to divide Seo Hee-won's estate into thirds between Koo Jun-yeob and the two children. However, due to Seo Hee-won's death, her biological father, Wang So-bi, is expected to manage two-thirds of the 10 billion won in custody.
