'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2' Kwak Tube showcases a fantastic chemistry with 'best friend' Ji Ye-eun.
In the 20th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary 'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 7th (Friday), Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) start their food trip in the 38th street location 'Yeongdeok,' where 'MZ representative' Ji Ye-eun appears as a 'food friend.'
That day, as Kwak Tube moves from Andong to Yeongdeok, he wonders who the 'food friend' might be. Jeon Hyun-moo hints, "If I give a clue, it's a vibrant trending star and an actress active in variety shows." Shortly after, when Kwak Tube confirms that the 'food friend' is his best friend Ji Ye-eun, he jokes, "What? What kind of actress are you?" eliciting laughter. In response to Kwak Tube's real reaction, Ji Ye-eun retorts, "Why? Is it a bit disappointing that a girl group isn't coming?" displaying a genuine friendship vibe with a 'crazy chemistry.'
A little later, Ji Ye-eun asks, "I'm so hungry. Where are we going to eat?" Kwak Tube responds, "I know a bit about Yeongdeok. There's a restaurant I couldn't eat at last time because the line was long," introducing Kwak Tube's 'newsroom restaurant,' a first for 'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project.' However, Ji Ye-eun complains in a 'friend mode,' "I traveled 4 hours (from Seoul), aren't we going to eat snow crab?" Nevertheless, Kwak Tube confidently leads, asking, "Why are you complaining about snow crab as soon as you arrive? Let's go!"
Finally, upon arriving at the recommended newsroom restaurant, the three examine the menu board outside with curiosity. Regarding the menu that includes fish soup and Mijuguri stew, Kwak Tube explains, "The menu changes according to the seafood caught that day. It's a specialty fish stew restaurant." However, Ji Ye-eun firmly states, "I don't like fish stew," making Jeon Hyun-moo burst into laughter.
Once inside the restaurant, they deliberate and order the seasonal menu item, Mijuguri stew. Moments later, as the Mijuguri stew made with Yeongdeok's specialty, the flatfish (water flounder), is served, the three are amazed by the fantastic combination of 'half fish, half eggs' and put on a storm of eating show. Even Ji Ye-eun, who claimed to dislike fish stew, is repeatedly exclaiming, "It's so delicious!" which raises curiosity about the Mijuguri stew eating show.
The true identity of the Yeongdeok 'Kwak Tube's newsroom restaurant,' which also captivated the taste buds of 'MZ leader' Ji Ye-eun, can be confirmed in the 20th episode of MBN and Channel S 'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project,' airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 7th (Friday).
