Dressed neatly and formally, they met Jung-sook's parents and uncle's family. Jung-sook's mother said, "It's my birthday, so it feels like I've received a surprise gift. I wonder if there's some good news to share" while throwing a mix of jokes and truth.
10th season, Sang-cheol said, "I have two children from my ex-wife. One son and one daughter, they're 13 and 11 years old," adding, "I thought you might be surprised if I told you later, and I didn't want to say I don't have children. As a father, I felt I should do my duty, so I wanted to share it." He choked up while speaking.
The mother asked, "What if my daughter has to struggle between her children and her relationship?" Sang-cheol responded, "I will definitely treat Jung-sook better. Of course, that's how it should be. I thought you should know, so I told you." Then, Jung-sook's mother seriously said, "If you think about the kids, shouldn't you not have a girlfriend?" and added, "Aren't you supposed to be responsible for the kids until they're 20?" making Sang-cheol freeze.
