The official logo of the boy group NEXZ from JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) won an award at the 'iF Design Awards 2025,' considered one of the world's top three design awards.
Recently, the logo of NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Huey, Yuki) was selected as the branding winner in the communication institutional sector of the 'iF Design Awards 2025.' 'iF Design Awards,' which started in 1953, is a globally respected design award alongside the 'Red Dot Design Award' and 'IDEA,' regarded as one of the world's top three design awards.
NEXZ's logo was branded to clearly and concisely show the group's aspirations to showcase something new without being tied to a specific genre or style. Through a straight-letter type logo and the space that penetrates it, a unique alphabet shape was created, embodying NEXZ's limitless potential and challenging spirit, which is applied in a three-dimensional manner to fit the activity concept.
The letter type logo can be decomposed and combined to form various geometric patterns, enhancing the density of multiple applications while maintaining brand consistency. The straight lines that penetrate the letter type logo express the group's steps toward 'the next generation,' allowing various graphic elements such as images, videos, colors, and patterns to flow through, thus increasing scalability and usability.
NEXZ made its global debut with its first single 'Ride the Vibe' in May 2024. The group name NEXZ is a contraction of 'Next Z(G)eneration,' reflecting the desire to open the future together with a new generation. Incorporating rhythms based on hip-hop and electronic elements, NEXZ has created its own 'Easy-Experimental' genre while also mastering various genres from pop dance to impactful rap and old-school hip-hop, establishing itself as a 'next-generation stage sensation group' with all members showcasing outstanding performance abilities. NEXZ is having a year of growth and leap, gaining recognition as one of the '8 Rookie K-Pop Acts To Watch In 2025' according to the American Grammy.com. Throughout this year, NEXZ will roll out projects and expand its influence.
