The music video teaser for EXO member and solo artist Xiumin's new song has been released.
The agency INB100 announced at midnight on the 6th that it posted the first music video teaser for the title track 'WHEE!' from Xiumin's second mini album 'Interview X' on the official channel.
The teaser video features Xiumin, dressed in a witty suit and holding a vacuum cleaner, capturing attention against an analog mood that seems dreamlike. Unlike earlier videos, he showcases a contrasting charm dressed in a chic all-black outfit and bold sunglasses.
Towards the end of the video, Xiumin is seen discovering something and appearing surprised, while pulling a handle of an unidentified mechanical device, heightening curiosity about the main music video.
Xiumin's title track 'WHEE!' is a dance song based on UK Garage, combining synthesizers and Xiumin's vocals to deliver trendy and sensuous energy.
This album is filled with various tracks showcasing Xiumin's charm, including the pop song 'Can't Help Myself,' which depicts an irresistible attraction to an unavoidable opponent; 'Make You LaLa,' which features a lively guitar riff and vibrant sounds, highlighting Xiumin's refreshing vocals; 'Switch Off,' creating a dreamy atmosphere with soft guitar melodies and emotional tunes; 'Lost Paradise,' expressing a mature mood based on BASS and synths; and 'Love is U,' combining Xiumin's sweet vocals with Chen's beautiful lyrics over delicate piano and string melodies.
The mini album 'Interview X,' which will feature Xiumin's new and diverse charms not seen before, will be released on March 10 at 6 p.m.
Xiumin will hold the 'XIUMIN FAN CONCERT 'X Times ( )' on the 22nd. He will also appear as the main character Heo Kyun in the drama 'Heo Sikdang,' which will be released weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays at 5 p.m. on Netflix and Wavve starting March 24, continuing his active participation across music, performances, and acting.
Meanwhile, Xiumin's side noted that his appearance on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' was canceled ahead of the solo album release, and they are in conflict after raising concerns about pressures from KBS and SM Entertainment.
