Actress Cha Mi-kyung is set to provide profound warmth in "Poksak Sogasseuda."

The Netflix series "Poksak Sogasseuda" (written by Lim Sang-chun, directed by Kim Won-seok) tells the story of "a feisty rebel" Ae-soon (played by IU) and "a foolish but strong" Kwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum), revealing their adventurous lives through the four seasons. It is expected to portray a vibrant life that portrays the two protagonists' childhood from the 1960s to the present and into 2025, capturing both sunny and cloudy moments.

In particular, writer Lim Sang-chun, who has received much love for dramas such as "When the Camellia Blooms" and "Fight for My Way", and director Kim Won-seok, known for dramas like "My Mister," "Signal," and "Misaeng," are collaborating on this project, raising expectations.

In "Poksak Sogasseuda," Cha Mi-kyung will play the role of "Chung-soo," the eldest among the haenyeo (female divers). Chung-soo has lived as a haenyeo in the cold sea but possesses a warm personality, considering Ae-soon as her own child. She is expected to present her generous affection, sharing the wisdom of life she has accumulated through her experiences, which adds warmth to the story as the two characters navigate their intense lives.

Cha Mi-kyung has perfectly portrayed characters across different eras and generations through films such as "Jangson," "Three Days Off," MBC's "Police Squad 1958," and SBS's "Good Partner." Through her role as Chung-soo in "Poksak Sogasseuda," Cha Mi-kyung is expected to showcase her charming side to viewers.

Meanwhile, the Netflix series "Poksak Sogasseuda" is scheduled to premiere on the 7th.
