Kim Jong-min from 'Modern man life - Groom lesson' is in a deficit crisis for his wedding.
On the April 5 broadcast of Channel A's entertainment show 'Modern man life - Groom lesson' (hereafter 'Groom lesson'), Kim Jong-min was seen preparing a guest list for his wedding with his '20-year' best friend Haha.
Today, ahead of his wedding on April 20, Kim Jong-min met his best friend Haha to receive advice about marriage. Haha then mentioned the wedding date overlapping with Ailee's wedding, saying, "I told you to go to Ailee, and I'm going to you."
When expressing his disappointment, Haha called Byeol and asked, "Whose wedding are you going to?" As Byeol hesitated, Kim Jong-min asked, "Whose wedding are you going to?" Byeol replied, "Of course I'm definitely going to oppa's wedding. Then I'll go to Ailee's wedding."
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min mentioned that he would be getting married at a hotel in Seoul where Taxes had his wedding. Haha remarked, "It's going to cost a lot. Taxes tends to be a bit extravagant," and Kim Jong-min humorously added, "I'm going to be torn apart."
Kim Jong-min also appealed to Haha, saying, "Among the weddings I've been to, your wedding gift was the highest." He explained, "I mentioned that I went to Cha Tae-hyun's wedding, and he asked, 'Did you come?' Therefore, I felt I needed to mention this." Then, Lee Da-hae chimed in, "Didn't you give me wine as a gift when I got married? Can I also gift wine?" which caused everyone to burst into laughter.
Most importantly, it was revealed that Yoo Jae-suk would be the host for the first part of Kim Jong-min's wedding, while Taxes and Moon Se-yoon would handle the second part, with the celebratory song still undecided. When Haha confidently stated he would find a celebratory song, Kim Jong-min revealed, "My wife likes Jay Park and Zico, but personally, I would like it if Baek Ji-young and Lyn performed."
Haha mentioned to singer Baek Ji-young and Lyn, "You're going to Ailee's wedding, right? You're not coming to this one. They are your direct sunbaes." This prompted Kim Jong-min to express, "It's expensive, and it's quite stressful."
Afterward, the two began to seriously compile the guest list. They found that they only had about 30 names from people they met through various programs, including the '1 Night 2 Days' series and 'My Little Old Boy.' Haha worried, saying, "If you can't fill it up to this extent, you're doomed," and Kim Jong-min agreed, "It seems like it'll be a huge deficit, what should I do?"
Haha shot back, "Do you know how much that venue costs? Even placing a single flower costs money." Upon hearing this, Lee Da-hae revealed that she also got married at the same hotel, saying, "About 350 people came in total."
A surprised Kim Jong-min remarked, "I'm anxious because of Taxes," while expressing, "The bride really likes it. That's all I'm focused on," showing that he was only thinking about his fiancée 'Hiyung.' In response, Lee Seung-chul joked, "You might have to distribute free invitations."
