The comedian Lee Jin-hwan, who gained popularity with his 'absurd comedy,' has become the owner of an omakase restaurant with a monthly revenue of 20 million won.

On the afternoon of the 6th, the cable channel tvN entertainment program 'Sixth Sense: City Tour' revealed the recent activities of Jinger, a former member of the group Secret, and Lee Jin-hwan, a former comedian.

On this day, the 'Sixth Sense' team conducted a 'fake hunt in urban hot spots' in Gangnam, Seoul. Above all, Jinger, a former member of the group Secret, and Lee Jin-hwan, a former comedian, surprised the members of 'Sixth Sense.' Jinger was working part-time at a kimchi stew restaurant, while Lee Jin-hwan was operating a high-end omakase restaurant.

The first to enter the kimchi stew restaurant was Mimi, who was surprised to see the part-timer and said, 'Isn't that Senior Jinger?' To this, Jinger introduced himself, saying, 'I'm Jung Ha-na,' and noted, 'I'm studying entrepreneurship. I want to open a franchise.'

Jinger stated, 'After my activities ended, I was worried about what to do, and I was trying to find something I like and can do well while attempting to be a creator. It didn’t go well. Since my income was unstable, I couldn’t do what I wanted.'

Jinger explained, 'Friends from girl groups who work in the food industry sometimes have fans visit them. I thought I’d give it a try with a mindset of just starting. I thought I needed to understand how the hall operates, which is why I began working. Fans who have supported me for a long time come to visit,' noting that it has been almost a year since he started working part-time.

Jinger said, 'I started working around February or March of last year, and it's almost been a year. My aunt has a great taste for food. I fell in love with it as soon as I tasted it. I went to the owner that same day. Initially, they were hesitant, but after seeing how much I wanted it, they said, 'Let's just start.' It's been a year.'

The second restaurant found by the 'Sixth Sense' team was the high-end omakase restaurant operated by comedian Lee Jin-hwan. Yoo Jae-suk recognized Lee Jin-hwan immediately and was surprised.

Lee Jin-hwan stated, 'I have been operating a high-end omakase for about 15 years. It operates exclusively by reservation, and I go directly to Noryangjin to select quality ingredients. I also believe water is important, so I use Chojung mineral water, which is one of the world's top three springs. I get it from Cheongju about once every 10 days.'

He added, 'I’m currently generating an approximate monthly net revenue of 20 million won. Customers enjoy it a lot, and the response has been quite good.'

The reason Lee Jin-hwan changed his profession was that he had no broadcasting work. He said, 'I transitioned to being a chef. The impetus for starting this restaurant was primarily that there were no offers coming in. Broadcasting work suddenly stopped at one point. So, I used my savings to start a small food truck,' adding, 'Fishing has been my hobby. I wanted to show a cool side without looking clumsy. Since then, my cooking skills have significantly improved. I started with a food truck, then transitioned to a mid-level omakase, and eventually to a high-end omakase.'

Lee Jin-hwan's omakase restaurant costs 270,000 won per person and lasts about 2 to 3 hours. He said, 'I use a lot of seasonal ingredients. I stick mainly to seasonal produce. If something seems insufficient, I give anything. Typically, we open at 6:30 p.m., but there are customers who leave at 2 p.m.'

Lastly, professional gamer and shaman Kang Seong-ho, ranked first in Tekken globally, made an appearance. Kang Seong-ho explained, 'I had a lot of dreams, and when I was 26, I had a shamanic affliction, leading to much pain in my bones, and I had high fevers. Even the hospital couldn’t provide a diagnosis. I intuitively felt it was a shamanic affliction.'

Kang Seong-ho continued, 'Another talent given to me by the deity is being a Tekken professional gamer. I started this profession in the summer of 2017. I participated in a tournament that year and found I had talent. That caught people's attention. I won first place at a Tekken tournament held in Australia,' adding, 'Many people, including construction company presidents, politicians, and celebrities, come. A maximum of 260 to 270 people visit each month.'

Ultimately, the members of 'Sixth Sense' identified the third guest, Kang Seong-ho, a professional gamer and shaman, as the fake, based on the choice of guest Jang Dong-yoon. However, the fake was Jinger, who was working part-time at a kimchi stew restaurant to start a business.
