Min-ho Jang is set to showcase crab homakase on the new KBS 2TV program 'New Launch Restaurant.'
In the episode airing on March 7, KBS 2TV's 'New Launch Restaurant' (hereafter 'Restaurant') will feature Min-ho Jang inviting his cherished colleagues to serve them a special course meal made with seasonal crabs, known as 'crab homakase.' Having previously made waves with various homakase dishes on 'Restaurant,' attention is on what tasty dishes Min-ho will create this time. Additionally, as many trot colleagues will be present, romantic songs are expected to be heard.
On that day, Min-ho Jang appeared in the VCR carrying an icebox as he returned home. With anticipation high regarding what would be inside, the main ingredient in the icebox was a crab that had reached its peak season. Even at a glance, the crabs looked plump and fresh, causing members of 'Restaurant' to exclaim, "The crab looks great," and "It seems delicious," as they swallowed their saliva.
Following that, Min-ho Jang skillfully cleaned the crab and placed the body and shell into the steamer. At that moment, the doorbell rang, and the first guest he invited, Kim Yang, arrived. The two, who boast a close sibling-like friendship, shared friendly jokes as they greeted each other, bringing smiles to the scene. Shortly after, the second invited guest, Kim Yong-pil, also arrived, further enhancing the cheerful atmosphere.
Then, Min-ho Jang took the crabs out of the steamer and began the full-fledged homakase cooking. Equipment not typically seen in a home kitchen appeared, causing Kim Yang and Kim Yong-pil's eyes to widen. Undeterred, Min-ho sequentially prepared crab dishes, including grilled crab on a heated plate, crab shell fried rice, crab mala xiang guo, and crab mala jjajang ramen, using the freshly steamed crabs. The impressive chef-like presence of Min-ho Jang, who effortlessly created astonishing dishes, made Kim Yong-pil and Kim Yang marvel. The two shared and enjoyed wine that Kim Yong-pil had brought, adding to the festive atmosphere.
In response to the continuous flow of delicious crab dishes, Kim Yang and Kim Yong-pil sang along. The atmosphere felt as if Min-ho's bar, filled with romance, had opened right there, creating a whimsical vibe that led to jokes like, "Is this really a home?" The crab dishes and singing party taking place in the romantic and lively homakase will be unveiled on KBS 2TV's 'New Launch Restaurant' airing at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7.
