Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together extended a kind influence to help children suffering from hunger in the country.
The global children's rights NGO Good Neighbors announced on the 6th that singer Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together donated 50 million won.
The donation delivered that day will be used for Good Neighbors' project to support hungry children in South Korea. Good Neighbors is raising awareness of the challenges faced by children at risk of hunger who struggle to secure meals alone and is conducting the 'One Meal Adventure' campaign to highlight the need for safe and healthy meal support.
Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together said, "After seeing the story of the Grune family, where three family members manage a meal with just one packet of ramen, I made the decision to donate," adding, "I hope my small gesture reaches the children in need and helps them adapt healthily to society."
With this donation, Yeonjun has been registered in 'The Neighbors Club,' a special membership group of Good Neighbors. 'The Neighbors Club' is a gathering of sponsors who contribute more than 10 million won annually and implement values beyond mere donations while promoting a culture of giving.
Hyun Dae-jung, the director of external cooperation at Good Neighbors, expressed deep gratitude for Yeonjun's warm heart toward children in need, saying, "Good Neighbors will do its best to deliver practical help to children in welfare blind spots."
