Model Lee Hyun-yi's husband, Hong Seong-ki, shared his recent status as a late bloomer.
On the 5th, Hong posted on his social account, stating, "first day of school," "first class," along with a verification photo.
Previously, Hong revealed that he had been accepted into the graduate school of Sungkyunkwan University. He was accepted into the master's program in semiconductor display engineering for the 2025 academic year.
After that, he clarified a self-resignation rumor by stating, "Goodbye to the commuter bus I've consistently used for the past 16 years until graduation." He also noted, "This is my last commute before admission. I'm not resigning or on leave; I'm on an education program assignment (no one is curious about this)."
Meanwhile, right at the start of the semester, Hong noted, "Everyone but me is taking notes on their pads... It's not easy to return to campus after 17 years," and added, "I bought three volumes yesterday... Should I immediately buy a Galaxy pad?" eliciting empathy with his sense of time.
On another note, Hong works as a semiconductor development engineer at Samsung Electronics. He married model and broadcaster Lee Hyun-yi in 2012, and they have two sons. He has also appeared on YouTube and in entertainment programs, participating in year-end entertainment award shows and is active as a broadcaster.
