In 'Salon Drip 2', Jang Do-yeon suggested "divorce contemplation camp" for the long-standing couple chemistry between Kang Tae-oh and Lee Sun-bin, bringing about a huge laugh.
On the 4th, through the 'Salon Drip 2' channel, actors Lee Sun-bin and Kang Tae-oh appeared in an episode titled "It's okay for my best friend to use heart emojis to my boyfriend."
On that day, Lee Sun-bin and Kang Tae-oh appeared, and the two met in the tvN weekend drama 'Potato Research Institute.'
When asked about their first impressions of each other, Kang Tae-oh said, “I had a good first impression, just as the rumors said,” and added, “I get really nervous, but Sun-bin approached me comfortably, so I thanked her.” Regarding Kang Tae-oh, Lee Sun-bin said, “I thought he would be cold because he gave a strong impression, but in reality, he’s just clumsy,” and said, “I became more curious about him, and he’s fun to tease.”
As soon as he was discharged from military service in March 2024, Kang Tae-oh immediately started working on this project. He mentioned the rumor that he would be "wearing military items even after discharge," to which Lee Sun-bin, who was beside him, responded, “Underwear?” Jang Do-yeon was surprised and asked, “Did you see his underwear?” Kang Tae-oh then clarified, “No, it’s a misunderstanding,” and said, “You should choose your words carefully.” Jang Do-yeon, flustered, made the atmosphere more suspicious. Then Lee Sun-bin corrected, “We have a group chat room, and we do video calls together, but (Kang Tae-oh's outfit) was underwear.”
They also asked each other for guilty points. Kang Tae-oh said, “Lee Sun-bin is charming because she is straightforward and has an unpretentious appearance,” and Lee Sun-bin described Kang Tae-oh as “having a charm that makes me smile even long after.” When Kang Tae-oh said, “Isn’t that absurd?” Lee Sun-bin replied, “His wit and actions leave a long-lasting impression; he won’t be annoying no matter what,” and she suggested, “Let’s reconcile now,” reaching out for a handshake, to which Kang Tae-oh responded, “I didn’t fight,” and accepted the handshake.
When asked whether he usually gives compliments, Kang Tae-oh responded, “If Sun-bin is pretty on filming days, I say, ‘Oh? You look pretty today?’ but she doesn’t believe it,” to which Lee Sun-bin remarked, “I think we need to fight again,” explaining, “I just got my makeup touched up, and they said my eyebrows were wide today.” Kang Tae-oh clarified, “I like wide eyebrows,” and apologized, “It makes your expression seem softer; it’s not what I intended, but I reflect on it a lot.”
Lee Sun-bin mentioned that there are many disappointing anecdotes. When asked to respond objectively, Jang Do-yeon humorously said, “Right now in ‘Love and War,’ I feel like I’ve become Shin Gu-seong,” adding, “I just want you two to get a divorce; I can’t stand hearing this,” which made everyone laugh.
When talking about times when they feel hurt by messages, Kang Tae-oh remarked, “It’s more hurtful when they don’t read my messages than when they do read and ignore them,” then said to Lee Sun-bin beside him, “You ignore my KakaoTalk messages a lot.” This refers to the act of not reading the messages. He further explained that he sent a message about a shoot in a personal chat but noticed she only answered in the group chat. Lee Sun-bin countered, “Just once, it was after a few hours that I saw the KakaoTalk message,” but Kang Tae-oh insisted, “It was twice,” recalling it. Jang Do-yeon quipped that because of their couple chemistry, “Now you two need to go to the ‘divorce contemplation camp’ again,” bringing about another burst of laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo and Lee Sun-bin, who have been publicly dating since 2018 and have been in a relationship for over six years, are also a well-known ‘successful couple.’ Lee Sun-bin had considered Lee Kwang-soo as her ideal type even before they began dating, and their relationship continued through 'Running Man' where they have maintained their love until now.
