After retiring from MBC and signing an exclusive contract with MC Mong's agency, Kim Dae-ho confessed that he has already spent all of his severance pay.
On the 6th (Thursday), MBC's 'Save Me! Homes' (directors: Jeong Da-hee, Kim Moon-seop, Son In-ji, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Wan-cheol) will feature an investigation of a silver town in the city.
This episode will highlight the growing interest in silver towns as South Korea faces an aging society, with Kim Suk noting that 'the perception once held like Goryeo Jang is now becoming a dream for the elderly.' Park Na-rae also explained that 'recently, silver towns offer a variety of services and community programs that enhance the quality of life for the elderly,' raising expectations.
Kim Dae-ho, Im Woo-il, and Jang Dong-min, who are in charge of this investigation, gather in Pyeongchang-dong to film the opening for 'Investigation of Silver Towns in the City.' At that time, Kim Dae-ho, whose agency was not yet determined, stated, 'When I was a company employee, the company provided a vehicle, but today they said it was not possible. So, I walked for an hour from my house in Hongje-dong to Pyeongchang-dong.' When Jang Dong-min and Im Woo-il were surprised, Kim Dae-ho added, 'I walked because I didn't want to waste taxi fare. Since I'm free now, I need to save more.'
When Im Woo-il asked Kim Dae-ho, 'Aren't you getting your severance pay?' he replied, 'I have already withdrawn my severance pay...' which garnered sympathy. Later, Kim Dae-ho added, 'However, to celebrate my becoming a celebrity, I'll treat everyone to drinks at the convenience store,' but he didn't drink himself, causing laughter.
The first silver town that the three visit is located in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, which opened in December 2023 and is only one year old. It is conveniently located along the main road in Pyeongchang-dong, with four major hospitals accessible within a 20-minute drive. The three are captivated by the various community facilities, including a spa, gym, and cinema. During an interview with a 91-year-old grandmother, Kim Dae-ho and Im Woo-il unexpectedly received generous nagging, sparking curiosity.
The investigation of silver towns in the city will be aired on Thursday, the 6th, at 10 p.m. on MBC's 'Save Me! Homes.'
