Actress Lee Seol of 'Invasion' boasted about her chemistry with Kwon Yu-ri.
On the 5th, a press conference and media event for the film 'Invasion' (written and directed by Kim Yeo-jeong and Lee Jeong-chan, provided/distributed and produced by Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, co-produced by Blue Fire Studio) took place at CGV Yongsan IPark Mall in Seoul. The event was attended by actors Kwak Sun-young, Kwon Yu-ri, Lee Seol, and directors Kim Yeo-jeong and Lee Jeong-chan.
The film 'Invasion' is a psychological destruction thriller depicting the cracks that occur when Yeong-eun (Kwak Sun-young), whose life is collapsing due to her daughter So-hyun's strange behavior, encounters Min (Kwon Yu-ri), who has lost her past memories 20 years later, and Hae-young (Lee Seol).
Kwak Sun-young and Lee Seol also showcased their action coordination in the film. In this regard, Kwon Yu-ri noted, "Due to time constraints during filming, we had no choice but to go for a one-take shot. Despite having sufficient rehearsal, with the presence of fire and needing to physically exert ourselves intensely, we were on edge and emotions ran high. We were quite nervous, but I was relieved that we could complete it in one take without any issues."
Hearing this, Lee Seol remarked, "At that time, I realized my sister's true power once again. I was extremely fearful of handling action in one take, but I worried a lot about possibly injuring my sister or causing an accident. I had my clumsy moments, but my sister is very good at sports and has great reflexes. That gave me the courage to do it. She dodged everything, hit well, and even managed to ignite herself. I relied a lot on her during the shoot," which made everyone laugh.
Yu-ri also added, "When we practiced together at the action school, Lee Seol was really good at sports. Her fundamentals were great, especially her front rolls and back rolls. From that time, we were able to trust each other and throw ourselves boldly. If we had gotten seriously hurt, it would have been really awkward, but I liked that we could trust each other and use our bodies freely, which made it very exciting."
