BTS member j-hope has wrapped up preparations for his solo activities, dominating the Billboard charts.
According to the latest chart released by the American music media Billboard on March 4, j-hope's collaboration with Don Toliver, titled 'LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams),' debuted at 83rd on the main song chart 'Hot 100.' This song ranked 43rd on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart, 48th on the 'Global 200,' and reached 3rd and 5th in 'Rap Digital Song Sales' and 'R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales,' respectively, as well as 8th in 'Digital Song Sales.' Additionally, it recorded 15th on the 'Hot Rap Songs' chart and 27th on the 'Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs' chart.
This marks j-hope's fifth entry on the 'Hot 100' chart for his solo songs. He first broke into the 'Hot 100' at 81st with 'Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G),' released in September 2019. He later entered the chart with the double title tracks 'MORE' (82nd) and 'Arson' (96th) from his first official solo album 'Jack In The Box,' released in July 2022, and the solo single 'on the street (with J. Cole)' at 60th, released in March 2023.
Jimin is active on Billboard's two main charts. His second solo album 'MUSE' debuted at 123rd on the main album chart 'Billboard 200,' while the title track 'Who' landed at 33rd on the main song chart 'Hot 100.' This song has maintained its position on the 'Hot 100' for 31 consecutive weeks, achieving the longest charting record for a K-pop solo song alongside Psy's 'Gangnam Style.' 'Who' is positioned at 24th on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' charts.
Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranked 76th on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart and 124th on the 'Global 200.' Jin's solo album 'Happy,' released in November last year, has sustained its ranking for 15 consecutive weeks on the 'World Albums' chart, continuing its long run.
BTS's group album is also performing strongly. The anthology album 'Proof' has maintained its position at 7th on the 'World Albums' chart for 142 weeks, showcasing the group's continued strength.
j-hope will release his digital single 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' simultaneously worldwide on the 7th at 2 p.m. This song is a serenade expressing his desire to love and be loved, featuring R&B representative artist Miguel. At 1 p.m. on the 7th, an offline fan event titled 'Sweet Dreamland' will be held with 613 ARMY members. Fans unable to attend in person can join via live streaming on the superfan platform Weverse.
