According to the latest chart announced by Oricon on 4th (as of March 3), Seventeen's Japanese single 4th 'Shohikigen (消費期限/소비기한)' and mini album 12th 'SPILL THE FEELS' topped the 'Daily Single Ranking' and 'Daily Album Ranking', respectively.
It is rare for an artist to dominate two charts with albums released at different times. This highlights the powerful album strength of Seventeen, known as the 'top K-pop group.' Notably, both 'Shohikigen' and 'SPILL THE FEELS' have succeeded in the chart re-entry after being loved continuously for a long time, despite being released some time ago.
'Shohikigen', released last November, surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments in just a month and received the Gold Disc 'Double Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. This album also ranked first on the 'Daily Single Ranking' on January 17 and February 27-28, proving its long-term popularity.
'SPILL THE FEELS' also ranked 5th in the 'sum album ranking' and 'album ranking' sector of the 'Oricon annual ranking 2024', and received the Gold Disc 'Double Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan early this year, boasting its 'long-lasting popularity.'
Seventeen enhances its local status with a fan meeting in Japan. They will hold the 'SEVENTEEN 2025 JAPAN FAN MEETING 'HOLIDAY'' at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 24 and 26-27, and at Saitama Super Arena on May 10-11.
