Hanni of the group EXID has returned to South Korea after finishing a trip to India and is sweating to make a comeback to broadcasting.

On the 5th, EXID member Hyerin posted a photo along with the text "Fighting" on her personal social media account story.

In the photo, Hyerin poses in a practice room with EXID members LE, Solji, Hanni, and Jungwha. The EXID members standing in front of the mirror had bright expressions and poses, and they appeared to be preparing for a stage to showcase on the episode featuring Baby Vox on "Immortal Songs."

Hanni recently shared updates about her trip to India. After deciding to indefinitely postpone her marriage to mental health specialist Yang Jae-woong, this marks her first update in 8 months, during which Hanni visited a village located 1,700 meters above sea level in the northern Himalayas, along with the caption "Dharamsala."

Hanni has stopped activities since an incident of patient death occurred at Yang Jae-woong's hospital in May of last year. The fact that a patient named A died after being hospitalized for treatment of diet pill addiction became known two months after the death, leading to speculation and claims that Hanni, who was promised to marry, could not have been unaware of this fact, causing her to halt her activities. Consequently, Hanni also withdrew from a variety show in which she was scheduled to appear.

Due to the fallout from the patient death incident, Hanni and Yang Jae-woong have indefinitely postponed their marriage. While Hanni has stopped domestic activities, she has signaled a return by participating in overseas festivals as a complete EXID group and announcing her return to activities by joining EXID members for the episode featuring Baby Vox on KBS2's "Immortal Songs."

Meanwhile, the police investigation into the patient death incident involving Yang Jae-woong is currently halted. According to a report from a media outlet on the 25th of last month, the police stated that they have ceased the investigation due to the absence of the evaluation results from the Korean Medical Association.

According to Article 98 of the police investigation rules, expert evaluations are necessary to conclude investigations regarding incidents such as medical accidents, traffic accidents, and patent infringements; however, investigations can only be suspended if substantial time is required for such evaluations.

Yang Jae-woong also appeared as a witness at the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Committee's national inspection. When asked if he admits to any negligence, he said, "I do not acknowledge it. It is difficult to admit." He also stated, "Once again, I apologize for not being able to ensure a safe recovery for your daughter or younger sibling whom you trusted and admitted to our hospital."
